"It's never too late to be what you might have been"
We think George Eliot would have appreciated our Intensive Outpatient Program
All this week, the 107.1FM Morning Show is dedicated to the heroin epidemic in New Jersey. Why not come down and ride a stationary bike for a bit, to help raise funds to fight heroin addiction and provide treatment?
Representatives from The Counseling Center will visit the live broadcast sites to help answer questions about Outpatient Addiction Treatment available in Freehold and Fair Lawn, and Intensive Outpatient Therapy. We hope to offer help to those who need assistance finding help with substance abuse.
The most important step in treatment for substance abuse is the first step: accepting help. And when a person is willing to get help, we must act quickly to get them into a capable treatment program as soon as possible.
The radio station is accepting donations, and for everyone willing to contribute effort, stationary bikes will be setup at each location for anyone to ride to raise funds. The Jules L. Plangere, Jr. Family Foundation will be donating $1 for every mile ridden on each bike at all locations, up to $25,000. Donations will go to local charities that fully fund recovery programs.
