The Intensive Outpatient Program group provides counseling and therapy in a group setting, designed to help our clients reinforce their commitment for a healthier, happier life, and provide them with the resources that lie within themselves, and around them. This treatment program utilizes proven therapies, and intensive education, to help and guide individuals through the transition to a new and better way of life.
The Substance Abuse outpatient group is a guided, group forum where the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol use are discussed. This therapy treatment provides education about specific substances and the way they act on the brain and the body, and the symptoms of long-term use. This method of therapy is valuable to the participant who wishes to take control over the healing of their body and mind.
The Mental Health outpatient group addresses and treats co-occurring mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression, and other underlying mental health issues. With various types of therapies, this group helps our clients recognize negative patterns of behavior and thought, and offers techniques to learn how to override these, by replacing them with positive actions and behavior, until these become second nature.
The Family Group provides educational support to individuals who are in recovery, and the recovering family unit. The spouses, children, parents, and siblings of clients entering or in recovery, are guided to recognize negative patterns, unhealthy roles, and dysfunctions in the family unit, and how to change these patterns, roles, and dysfunctions to help the recovering individual reduce the risk of relapse, and ultimately help the mental state of everyone in the family.
